Properties With Purpose began with Raquel Battle-Leslie’s vision: to help people find their place in Belize while supporting care for people and families facing the end of life.
Her experience as an independent real estate agent and her commitment to hospice services in Southern Belize shaped the decision to build a business around that purpose. Personal service and community responsibility would belong together.
From its base in Placencia, the woman-owned business developed its work across homes, land, vacation properties and commercial opportunities. Its story continues through the people it serves and the relationships it builds.

A connection to hospice care.
Hospice care is central to why Properties With Purpose was founded. The company’s founding commitment connects its real estate work with the BlissfulSage Foundation and the Edlin Leslie Sr. Hospice in Belize.
The original commitment was to direct a portion of property-sale profits toward hospice support, helping make compassionate end-of-life care more accessible to individuals and their families.
Compassion, made part of the business.
That purpose asks us to look beyond a transaction: to consider the dignity, comfort and support people need during difficult chapters of life.
